This position is responsible for ensuring data integrity and protecting sensitive information through advanced analysis/research and recommending solutions, policies and procedures; evaluating system functionality; design, testing, and documentation of the State's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System within the Procurement Section.</p> <p>For more information, please view the complete position description.</p> <p>The IS Enterprise Business Analyst Consultant Administrator serves as the Procurement section's functional and technical system expert in eProcurement, Purchasing, Purchasing Card, Inventory, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management, Procurement Contracts and Approval Framework. This position functions under general supervision. This position provides leadership and guidance to the section while working with other IS Enterprise Business Analyst - Consultant/Administrator positions in PeopleSoft Finance and HCM to ensure proper functionality across the application under the policies and procedures set forth by the Section Chief and STAR Management. This position's major goals are to: manage the sections project portfolio; oversee system analysis, resolution, and design for critical projects; oversee the impact analysis for the assigned suite; and be the single point of contact for Oracle Service Requests. This position will also take responsibility for understanding the reporting needs of the assigned section and will leverage Peoplesoft's capabilities to streamline business processes to provide the best customer service possible.</p> <p>For more information, please view the complete position description.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>Starting salary for the IS Enterprise Business Analyst-Professional (07-35) will be between $25.16 - $39.62 an hour. Starting salary for the IS Enterprise Business Analyst - Senior (07-34) will be between $30.15 - $46.78 an hour. Starting salary for the IS Enterprise Business Analyst - Specialist (07-33) will be between $35.19 - $53.97 an hour. Starting salary for the IS Enterprise Business Analyst - Consultant Administrator (07-32) will be between $40.22 - $61.15 an hour. Levels will be determined based off applicant qualifications and experience. A twelve-month probationary period may be required. Current State employees will be compensated in accordance with the current State Compensation Plan.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Due to the nature of the position, DOA will conduct fingerprinting and background checks on applicants prior to selection. DOA does not sponsor work visas and is not an eligible OPT (Optional Practical Training) employer for F-1 international students. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.</p> <p>All employees are expected to live and work in Wisconsin. Interviews may be conducted onsite in Madison WI. Certain positions within this Department may allow remote/work from home flexibility for a portion of their work schedule, depending on the needs of the position and the work unit. This topic and any remote work flexibility that may be available will be discussed in more detail in the interview process.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimally qualified applicants will have education, training, or experience in the following:</p> <ul> <li>Procurement experience within an IT system processing or analyzing transactions such as requisitions, purchase orders, procurement cards, contracts, sourcing events, inventory, or similar functions and/or analyzing financial data. </li><li>Education, training, or experience with business process documentation or business process design. </li></ul> <p>In addition to the above, well qualified applicants will have:</p> <ul> <li>Education, training, or experience with PeopleSoft ERP suites such as Finance and/or Human Capital Management. </li><li>Education, training, or experience managing projects, implementing efficient processes or workflows. </li><li>Experience in procurement analysis and reporting. </li><li>Structured Query Language (SQL) experience such as reading and interpreting code, writing queries, etc. </li><li>Experience with leading business analysis such as meeting with stakeholders to understand their needs, creating functional design requirements, leading system analysis, recommending solutions, etc. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Apply online!
