<p>Occupational Therapist 1.0 FTE JobID: 856</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Support Staff</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>6/16/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>District wide</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>08/25/2025</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>07/15/2025</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Region 14 Vacancy</p> <p>POSITION: Occupational Therapist 1.0 FTE</p> <p>LOCATION: Districtwide</p> <p>START DATE: August 25th, 2025</p> <p>DEADLINE: July 15th, 2025</p> <p>GENERAL DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Complete screenings, conduct evaluations, develop measurable goals, plan and implement therapeutic interventions, and collect data that are educationally relevant. </li><li>Communicate results of evaluations and reports to educational staff, parents, students, and other professionals or agencies as appropriate. </li><li>Document all therapy services including contact notes, progress summaries, evaluations, student Individualized Education Programs (IEP), trainings </li><li>Collaborate, consult, teach, and monitor professionals and paraprofessionals involved with the implementation of occupational therapy interventions or strategies. </li><li>Provide consultation to schools and districts regarding student, staff, and system needs. </li><li>Attend meetings as appropriate including school team, PPT meetings, and special education staff meetings and in-services, as required. </li><li>Participate in and facilitate in-service education, training, and professional development for related service staff and school personnel as needed. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>SALARY: According to Experience and Education</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Masters Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program </li><li>Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist from State of Connecticut License by the Department of Public Health. </li><li>Experience working in a school setting is preferred. </li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills. </li><li>Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans. </li></ul> <p>APPLY ONLINE:</p> <p>Letter of intent</p> <p>Resume</p> <p>3 letters of reference</p> <p>Transcripts</p> <p>Proof of Current licensure</p> <p>The Regional School District 14 Board of Education does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, marital status, national/ethnic origin, age, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or disability in its programs, activities, and employment practices as set forth in compliance with the Office of Civil Rights, Title VI, Title IX, and Section 504.
