<p>Essential Job Functions/Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Provide and maintain an acceptable Personal Motor Vehicle Record with DOT </li><li>Maintain van cleanliness--inside and out </li><li>Keep gas tank adequately filled </li><li>Keep fluids filled </li><li>Complete maintenance log on vehicle </li><li>Lift and transport up to 60 pounds unassisted </li><li>Work in temperatures as low as 32°F (walk-in cooler) </li><li>Work and drive in seasonal temperature and weather fluctuations </li><li>Have a strong command of the English language </li><li>Write legibly </li><li>Deliver all Flowerama product with pride and respect </li><li>Deliver Flowerama products on a timely basis and follow all traffic laws </li><li>Maintain a neat appearance consistent with the Flowerama Dress Code Policy </li><li>Process delivery tickets and call tags </li><li>Check-in, inventory, and stock freight </li><li>Respect co-workers and management </li><li>Follow and adhere to all Flowerama policies as outlined in the handbook or as instructed by management </li><li>Complete any other tasks as required by management </li></ul> <p>Adhere to the Flowerama mission statement by providing friendly, efficient, organized, and timely delivery for our Flowerama customers to their intended recipient.</p> <p>The primary job of a Flowerama delivery driver is to deliver flowers and gifts to designated recipients in a safe, smart, and timely manner. Drivers are store ambassadors in a trademarked van, and therefore must:</p> <ul> <li>Be efficient </li><li>Have excellent customer service skills </li><li>Have a positive attitude </li><li>Must have positive interaction with both their recipients and the public </li><li>Timely communicate any issues to a manager/supervisor </li><li>Maintain their vehicle and the products in it </li><li>Wear professional dress and visible logo apparel provided: shirt, jacket, or hat </li><li>Not smoke in the vehicle </li><li>Follow the Iowa vehicle laws. </li><li>Never text and drive, as it is illegal in the state of Iowa </li></ul>
