If you're passionate about helping people, learning new skills, and growing your career in banking, this is the opportunity for you!</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Loan Servicer is responsible for managing the data entry of new loans, maintaining current loan files, preparing and scanning documents, and ensuring the accuracy of electronic loan files. This role is key to maintaining a smooth and accurate loan servicing process.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Upload and set up new and renewed loans in the Banks core loan system.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure accuracy of General Ledger balances.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare loan payments efficiently and accurately.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor physical check payments and convert them to electronic payments.</p> </li><li> <p>Import or scan documents into the Banks imaging software and maintain electronic loan files.</p> </li><li> <p>Write letters to customers regarding insurance and lien filing documents.</p> </li><li> <p>Research and resolve issues related to customer or coworker requests.</p> </li><li> <p>Track and prepare mortgage discharges and lien releases.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and update insurance information in the Banks system.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage the physical storage and transfer of loan records to external long-term retention.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform necessary credit card responsibilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute positively to the team environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 2 years of experience in a banking environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic understanding of loan documentation, RESPA, and basic accounting principles is preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Salary: $45,000 - $55,000</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer:</p> <p>Rhinebeck Bank is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
