<p>Job Title: Boiler House Technician</p> <p>Department: TP)Facility Technology Team</p> <p>Shift: Nights 545pm-6am or Days 545am-6pm, 2-2-3 fixed schedule (Shift placement will be based on position availability)</p> <p>Direct Report: FTT Unit Manager</p> <p>About the Boiler Operator position</p> <p>We are looking for an experienced operator who will provide basic preventative and planned maintenance</p> <p>Operator responsibilities are:</p> <ul> <li>Perform all work safely and according to company standards </li><li>Work well with others within the team and throughout the organization </li><li>Regular attendance is an essential function of the position </li><li>Operate and maintain industrial utility equipment such as steam boilers, air compressors, nitrogen delivery systems, cooling towers, HVAC roof top units, chillers, and other associated equipment </li><li>Operate the equipment within defined process parameters and respond to deviation immediately </li><li>Conduct cooling water and boiler water testing </li><li>Conduct and document operator rounds; keep record of operational data in log books </li><li>Responsible for routine maintenance of pumps, valves, lines, and equipment </li><li>Perform job assignments alone or as a member of a work crew, depending on the nature of the assignment </li><li>Read blueprints, diagrams, and/or machinery manuals to diagnose problems, identify components, and verify proper equipment operation </li><li>Utilize power & hand tools to properly and safely support work activities </li><li>Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of work area and equipment </li><li>Follow safe working procedures such as LOTO, Hot Work Permits, Fall protection, and PPE </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Operator requirements are:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>(Required) High School Diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>(Required) 4 years of operation of utility equipment </li><li>(Required) Controlling operations of equipment or systems </li><li>(Preferred) Relevant experience </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; to reach with hands and arms; and to talk and hear </li><li>Mobility throughout the facility </li><li>Working in warm temperatures with no air condition, working outside at times during cold weather </li><li>Employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, walk, crouch or crawl </li><li>Employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis </li><li>Working at heights of 10 feet or greater, operating lifting devices, and entering confined spaces </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401(k), 401(k) matching </li><li>Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Paid Holidays </li></ul> <p>Hankook Tire is an equal opportunity employer.
