Part-time employees are authorized to work a maximum of 24 hours per week.</p> <p>About This Role</p> <p>The School of Continuing Education and Workforce Development is a dynamic and innovative department within the College, dedicated to providing a wide range of non-credit classes, courses, seminars, and training sessions for the community. These programs are designed to enhance career opportunities, upgrade skills and credentials, support business growth, and nurture personal interests and passions.</p> <p>In addition, the HCCC Center for Business & Industry (CBI) serves as a regional leader in creating and delivering educational programs tailored to the needs of Hudson County's businesses, organizations, and individuals.</p> <p>Summary of Duties</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>Provide non-credit, workforce development training in Basic Computers, Windows, Microsoft Office Suite products, Internet Skills, and commonly used cloud-based applications for NJRC clients utilizing approved training curriculum and materials.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Effectively deliver training for the Continuing Education and Workforce Development's clients. </li><li>Design, develop and update instructional material, including training handouts, workbooks, guides, and other materials as needed. </li><li>Create an upbeat and engaging classroom environment. </li><li>Use a variety of methods to help ensure the transfer of learning after class. </li><li>Administer competency-based pre- and post-assessments; Design and develop assessments as needed. </li><li>Take attendance and administer evaluations. </li><li>Complete progress reports on students as needed. </li><li>Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend training follow-up as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <p>Education Requirements: Associate degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.</p> <p>Experience: Training & Development: 3 years in Workforce Development preferred.</p> <p>Training Locations: Training can be held Online or at one of our campuses. Training may also be held at partner sites in Hudson County or one of the surrounding areas.</p> <p>Work Hours: Varies based on the program.
