<p>If you are looking to be a key member of a talented team of technical professionals, Precision Custom Components LLC (PCC) wants to talk to you! We are looking for a Quality Engineering Specialist I (Supplier Quality Control) to add to our growing team!</p> <p>Based in York, PA, PCC began over 100 years ago as a manufacturer of energy related equipment for government and commercial customers. Today, PCC is a major domestic supplier to the Commercial Nuclear Industry, Departments of Energy and Defense, as well as NASA, Naval Shipyards, and other industrial and government customers.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities of the Quality Engineering Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>Implement contract quality requirements through the incorporation of pass down requirements in purchase orders. </li><li>Review and disposition material certification documentation and/or certificates of compliance. Interact with purchasing department and supplier personnel to resolve any discrepancies. </li><li>Perform source inspection/surveillance at suppliers' facility to assure purchase order requirements have been satisfied. </li><li>Interface/train supplier personnel to ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements. </li><li>Prepare trip reports documenting performed activities and identifying issues and non-compliance. </li><li>Assist in the resolution of inspection problems related to supplier inspection process and planning. </li><li>Assist with maintenance of Approved Suppliers List </li><li>Assist with the preparation of history books and resolve supplier issues associated with this documentation. </li><li>Serve as the customer contact with respect to quality issues related to the material certification documentation. </li><li>Assist other departments in identification of supplier quality issues based on historical and statistical evaluations. </li><li>Attend critical meetings with internal and external stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Education: Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a heavy manufacturing industry.</p> <p>Experience: Experience in a quality role/function in a manufacturing environment.</p> <p>Computer Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent computer skills required. </li><li>Must have a working knowledge of ERP systems. </li><li>Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. </li></ul> <p>US citizenship is required at time of hire.</p> <p>PCC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
