<p>Averhealth is looking for a dedicated Lead?Specimen?Accessioner ?to service our state-of-the-art Laboratory in St. Louis, MO.?This position is Full-Time working 30+ hours per week with overtime eligibility.?This is a great way to gain skills to start a career in the?medical, addiction services, law enforcement, or emergency services field?and a great opportunity for you as you will be working with those struggling with addiction.</p> <p>PAY: $20/HR + Full-Time Benefits</p> <p>Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM</p> <p>BENEFITS: Company Paid Training Program + Uniform Allowance (post-training) ?+ Employee Referral Bonus Eligibility + Employee Discounts + more!</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepares specimen (urine) for analysis by receiving and opening in accordance with our standard operation procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Accession samples according to standard operating procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Generate and pull picklists</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares excess specimen samples for storage</p> </li><li> <p>Enters sample information into the software database</p> </li><li> <p>Disposes of samples after the analysis is complete</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains cleanliness of accessioning work areas</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in training new employees as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Fulfill external orders queue</p> </li><li> <p>Research & retrieval of add-on samples from sites</p> </li><li> <p>Sign samples into computer information management system</p> </li><li> <p>Opening bags/sample container pour overs (vial changes)</p> </li><li> <p>Weighs out hair samples for confirmation testing</p> </li><li> <p>Investigates discrepancies involving sample receipt, storage or analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluates Aversys functionality as needed and communicates directly to laboratory and IT management</p> </li><li> <p>Communicates with collection site leaders</p> </li><li> <p>Resolves one-off samples</p> </li><li> <p>Lead the team in absence of manager</p> </li><li> <p>Ticket desk?management to resolved inquiries</p> </li><li> <p>Reconcile Arrival queue?(researching leftover samples)</p> </li><li> <p>Check that all production is complete/check all queues</p> </li><li> <p>Find Investigation queue samples</p> </li></ul>
