We rely on skilled window and door installers to help run our millwork team, and to deliver great service to our customers.</p> <p>Why be a Window and Door Installer:</p> <p>We'll enroll you in Huskey's Warrior Certification Program and help you earn your Window/Door Installer certification - something our competitors do not offer; we'll teach you a marketable skill that will get you off to a great start in the construction trades.</p> <p>What you'll be doing as a Window and Door Installer:</p> <ul> <li>Measuring door and window glass accurately to ensure ordering accuracy. </li><li>Removing and installing window glass with safety and quality as your top priority. </li><li>Transporting and delivering window and door products safely to job sites. </li><li>Ability to move materials up to 100 pounds, frequently and safely. </li><li>A comfort level with moving up and down extension ladders, frequently and safely. </li><li>Acquiring the skills to properly install exterior doors and sliding glass doors. </li><li>Acquiring the skills to properly operate tools of the trade. </li><li>Acquiring the skills to properly apply the best practices of the trade. </li></ul> <p>What we'll expect in a Window and Door Installer:</p> <ul> <li>A mannered person of honesty and integrity who can take direction from others. </li><li>A team player who first and foremost gets customer service. </li><li>A problem solver with sufficient tenacity to own problems and see them through to satisfactory resolution. </li><li>A candidate who loves building, construction, and the like, but who also has interests and hobbies outside the construction realm. </li><li>A candidate with an affinity for field work - we work in new construction; expect to get dirty working in hot-in-the-summer and cold-in-the-winter environments when doing installs and/or repair work at locations all over middle Tennessee. </li><li>Basic iPad literacy and the ability to navigate on tablet devices. </li><li>Good oral and written communications skills, and a passion for documenting what you have completed. </li><li>A driver's license and insurability for purposes of driving company service vehicles. </li><li>Adaptability in the face of changing work requirements. </li><li>You must pass required company drug screens as part of a drug-free workplace. </li></ul> <p>#INDGA</p>
