This position is responsible for providing updates and information to surgery patients and guests.</p> <p>Essential Position Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide excellent customer service to patients, family members, hospital staff, and physicians </li><li>Engage and interact with patient, guests, and staff in an appropriate, positive manner </li><li>Provide updates and relay information to surgery patients and guests as appropriate </li><li>Answer and respond to incoming phone calls in an appropriate and professional manner </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and restock hospitality station in Surgery waiting room </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education: High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Licensure and Certifications: CPR, required within 90 days of hire. </li><li>Experience: Previous clerical and customer service experience, required. Bilingual, preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment: This position will spend 90% of the time sitting and 10% of time standing and/or walking short distances. This position may be exposed to communicable diseases and bodily fluids. This position will serve a culturally and linguistically diverse patient population.</p> <p>Qualifications</p>
