<p>Description</p> <p>The Family Court division of St. Louis County Government has an immediate opening for a Cookin their detention center. The primary responsibilities are to perform routine support of the food service operation at an assigned facility. The successful candidate will provide food services in cooperation with the Lead Cook, Facility Management, and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.</p> <p>Scheduled Hours:</p> <ul> <li>Wednesday, 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm </li><li>Thursday and Friday, 6:00 am - 5:30 pm </li><li>Saturday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm </li></ul> <p>This is an Essential Staff* position requiring work hours during snow days, holidays, and other incidents the Courthouse may be closed. There are no night hours past 5:30 pm. The interview will comprise 100% of the applicant's earned grade. A candidate must earn a qualifying grade of 70 or more on the interview to be eligible for appointment. After initial interviews with the selected candidates are conducted, an email will be sent to the address on file with instructions on how to complete and submit a Conviction Questionnaire. Candidates have 3 days to complete the required questionnaire.</p> <p>The five top ranking candidates, based on the final grade, will be certified to the Department Director/Appointing Authority who will make the final decision.</p> <p>All applicants conditionally offered a merit position will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Screening will be performed by a reputable clinical laboratory.
