<p>As a Junior Project Manager, some of your essential duties and responsibilities may include:</p> <ul> <li>Work with engineering team and project stake holders to define projects' scope and estimate. </li><li>Develop detailed cost estimates for various project components, including labor, materials, equipment, and other resources. </li><li>Providing data and analysis to support informed decision-making related to project costs. </li><li>Create documentation for project funding requests and follow up until approved </li><li>Monitor project expenditures, identifying variances from the budget, and implementing cost-saving measures. </li><li>Build and manage a project's work breakdown structure, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful completion of the project </li><li>Lead all aspects of the project lifecycle, working with project sponsors/key stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all phases of project completion. </li><li>Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan. </li><li>Create project-based communication (agendas, minutes, status, schedules, information materials) and distribute information as appropriate. </li><li>Capture project issues, ensures clear ownership of resolutions, and tracks to closure. </li><li>Ensure all the project changes are documented and approved according to company requirements. </li><li>Prepare Annual/ Quarterly/Monthly project forecast - with close collaboration with other stake holders and Finance department. </li><li>Verify the capitalization and project close on time. </li><li>Participate in internal/ external audits of capital projects. </li></ul> <p>You may fit well into this role if you have:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to establish and maintain effective strategic working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels or the organization. </li><li>Good understanding of project cost estimate/ cost control and have experience with Forecasting/ budgeting and variance analysis </li><li>Understanding of construction, manufacturing, or other relevant industries and technologies. </li><li>80/20 mindset and drive simplification </li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders. </li><li>Good organizational skills, including a high level of attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. </li><li>Ability to travel globally when needed. </li><li>Working knowledge of MS Office applications, most notably Project, PowerPoint and Excel. </li><li>Working knowledge of SAP project management module is desired but not essential </li><li>Consumer package goods industry experience is desired but not essential. </li></ul> <p>Please consider applying if you have:</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Industrial Eng., or a related field is typically required </li><li>1-3 years of relevant experience required, preferably managing manufacturing projects. </li></ul> <p>Duracell is the world's leading manufacturer and marketer of high-performance alkaline batteries, complemented by a portfolio of high quality, market leading specialty, rechargeable and professional batteries.
