The Accounts Payable Support Specialist is a part-time role responsible for assisting multiple Accounts Payable Coordinators in managing high invoice volume and assist in the completion of special projects. This position is part of a team of coordinators, who develop relationships with vendors and internal purchasing and finance staff, to ensure our vendors are paid timely and accurately.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support Accounts Payable team with processing invoice volume during peak seasons, vacations, leaves, and other times as needed. This includes but is not limited to:</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately review, code and process vendor invoices in Financial System (CloudSuite) to ensure timely payment.</p> </li><li> <p>Process PO match invoices utilizing 2-way and 3-way invoice match. Address PO issues with buyers.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain proper record keeping and electronic filing of all AP documentation according to published Document Retention guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Address and respond to vendor and internal customer inquiries timely.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor Accounts Payable imports from third party scanning company. Address invoice import issues timely.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist team with special projects to improve processes and maintain Accounts Payable data.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform monthly GL account reconciliations for Accounts Payable related accounts.</p> </li><li> <p>Process monthly journal entries to accrue standard expenses not paid in the current fiscal month and various reclass entries as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Request new vendors through company's vendor maintenance request process.
