<p>About this role</p> <p>As a Business Development Representative, you will be strategizing with your paired UBLA Account Executive, reaching out to Fortune 1000 companies, and providing valued insights and stories that showcase Udemy Business's unique value proposition. With a plethora of innovative sales automation tools at your fingertips, you will become a prospecting master, continually learning new skills that will prepare you for a long and illustrious career in sales (or any path you decide to take).</p> <p>What you'll be doing:</p> <ul> <li>Increasing revenue through outbound activities including calling, emailing, in-mailing, and direct mail </li><li>Support the UBLA Account Executive in managing the sales cycle for opportunities in the pipeline </li><li>Understanding and conveying the Udemy Business Leadership Academy mission, value proposition, and solution </li><li>Becoming a brand ambassador by getting to know and love the Udemy Business Leadership Academy product and story </li><li>Experimenting with new and creative prospecting strategies </li><li>Continually improving sales skills to attain quota and grow as a sales professional </li></ul> <p>What you'll have:</p> <ul> <li>While this work is based more on the skills a person has than what they have done, we think a typical profile could include the following: </li><li>Strong experience in a customer-facing role and an interest in a future career in sales </li><li>Experience with 1+ year of lead qualification, business development or similar skills and a track record of success </li><li>Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Outstanding organizational and time-management skills </li><li>A growth mindset that is recognizable by your peers </li></ul>
