<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Responsibilities (in addition to the description of Faculty in the Faculty Handbook): Teaches courses for the College of Nursing each semester; Advise students in the College of Nursing; Participate in scholarly activities; Service-Participates in appropriate professional, college and university committees/service organizations.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>NYS licensed Nurse Practitioner with appropriate national board certification. Doctoral degree (or current candidate) from an institution of higher education accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency. 3-5 years work experience. Working knowledge of curriculum design and implementation. Ability and skills to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, students, and others</p> <p>required.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Doctorate (PhD or DNP) or current doctoral candidate with faculty experience preferred.
