<p>The Staff Physical Therapist reviews patient charts, performs initial assessments, develops treatment plans, administers physical therapy treatments and modalities, monitors progress and documents treatments performed with patients (including discharge planning and patient education) in order to increase overall functioning, reduce discomfort, increase or maintain flexibility and range of motion/strength, and achieve other medical and therapeutic goals.</p> <p>This role is a float position that will travel to our Rostraver, Castle Shannon, North Strabane, Pleasant Hills, Uniontown, Greentree, Peters Township, South Hills, and White Oak offices</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Communicates patient's status to the healthcare team. </li><li>May serve as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students and residents. </li><li>Maintains professional license through continuing education. </li><li>Performs physical therapy assessments and treatments. </li><li>Supervises physical therapist assistants. </li><li>Develops and adjusts patient care plans. </li><li>Rotates through treatment areas as needed. </li><li>Attends staff meetings and in-service education programs. </li><li>Maintains detailed documentation of physical therapy services. </li><li>Provides home instructions to patients and families. </li><li>Graduate of an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). </li><li>Must possess knowledge and skills required to provide quality customer service. </li></ul> <p>Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:</p> <p>Active license in practicing state required.
