<p>Overview</p> <p>The Supply Specialist III will perform advanced tasks related to receiving, distribution and inventory management within the healthcare industry.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>System Management</p> <ul> <li>Performs Point of Use system maintenance as required </li><li>Troubleshoot technical problems with the point of use solution in conjunction with the CHOP Logistics Specialist </li><li>Adds and deletes items from par locations as directed by the CHOP Logistics Specialist </li><li>Informs appropriate Supply Chain staff of any known issues or challenges related to existing stocking levels and/or physical layout of inventory locations </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Receiving</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for ensuring all shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and on time </li><li>Receive materials and supplies against purchase orders for delivery as per packing list and delivers shipments to designated locations </li><li>Inspects and ensures the quality of all inbound and outbound shipments and reports all damages and discrepancies </li><li>Works with purchasing to return products as needed </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment </li><li>Use UPS World ship and Fed ex to process outgoing shipment </li><li>Communicate effectively with customers and supervisors and assist with discrepancy resolution </li><li>Assures timely receipt and delivery of critical medical human tissue, equipment and temperature sensitive products </li><li>Operates equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks and fork-lift to offload and move freight to designated delivery location </li><li>Make arrangements with facilities management to uncrate heavy equipment and removed from loading dock expeditiously. </li><li>Make sure deliveries are unloaded and vehicles moved at a timely pace in order to expedite deliveries, pickups, and courier services </li><li>Ensure dock meets all regulatory policies and procedures </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Distribution</p> <ul> <li>Deliver and stock inventory in Materials Distribution managed par locations </li><li>Works with internal customers to ensure that that their needs are being adequately met </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required </li><li>Minimum 5 years professional experience with minimum 3 years in Inventory Management and/or receiving experience preferred </li><li>Loading dock and receiving experience preferred </li><li>Experience working in inventory management preferred; Experience working in healthcare desired. </li><li>Basic working knowledge of computers and programs </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communications skills are required for success in this function </li><li>Demonstrated good ability to prioritize work, strong organizational skills and initiative to improve processes </li><li>Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must </li><li>Ability to work overtime and meet deadlines </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift 50 lbs </li><li>Reaching, pushing, pulling carts weighing up to 250lbs </li><li>Walking, standing for extended periods of time </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <p>Competitive pay & benefits!</p> <p>Comprehensive training and development programs that prepare employees to advance from within</p> <p>A company focused on creating a positive work and client environment</p> <p>Employee discounts on entertainment, products, and services nationwide!</p> <p>Come Join Our Team!</p>
