<p>Kforce's client, a hugely successful asset management company located in Boston, MA, is seeking a Controller to oversee a fast-growing private equity Real Estate portfolio.</p> <p>Summary: The Controller is responsible for all financial workflows, enforce structural discipline, and create institutional-grade reporting and forecasting. This role requires precision, speed, and the ability to manage both high-level strategy and granular workflow execution.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Full oversight of Yardi Voyager (GL, AP, AR, job cost, property accounting) </li><li>Procure-to-Pay / Bill-to-Pay administration and workflow governance </li><li>Investment Accounting Module: capital accounts, allocations, waterfalls, IRR calculations </li><li>Investment Manager: investor data integrity, distribution modeling, performance reporting </li><li>Fund accounting, multi-entity consolidations, intercompany transactions </li><li>Advanced Excel: dynamic forecasting, macros/VBA, scenario modeling, distribution projections </li><li>Budgeting and forecasting at property, project, and fund levels </li><li>Actuals vs. pro forma reporting; forward-looking cash and distribution forecasting </li><li>Construction draws, reserve draws, job-cost tracking, lien/loan compliance </li><li>Insurance tracking, covenant compliance, and PM-to-Fund fee reconciliation/collections* 10+ years of experience in real estate private equity, fund accounting, or institutional-level real estate accounting </li><li>Mastery of Yardi (all modules) and AppFolio </li><li>Deep fluency in waterfalls, IRR modeling, capital accounts, and multi-tiered distribution structures </li><li>High proficiency in Excel (modeling, macros, automation, templates, multi-entity roll-ups) </li><li>Capable of managing internal staff and external servicers with high expectations and strict standards </li><li>Operates proactively, imposes structure, flags risk early, and maintains airtight accuracy </li></ul>
