Buffett, acquired Precision Castparts Corp.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>Principal responsibility is to manage all commercial activity and contractual commitment of the existing, potential new customers and grow sales revenue as defined by the VP or Commercial.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Meet daily, weekly, and quarterly sales bookings targets. </li><li>Interface with internal and external customers regarding scheduling, pricing and terms and conditions. </li><li>Coordinate with other PCC Metals divisions to determine most cost-effective location for material production. </li><li>Assist in management of key accounts including but not limited to quoting, contract review processes, order entry, order tracking, and ensuring proper shipments. </li><li>Ensure all PCC compliance conditions are met including SOX requirements, ECON policy requirements, and all Trade Compliance requirements. </li><li>Manage and maximize revenue, profitability, and share within the operations and commercial structure. </li><li>Maintain and analyze essential metrics and necessary information to monitor the health of the contracts and provide feedback to Seniors on Contract performance. </li><li>Develop and execute strategic initiative to recover or improve SMC NH Performance in line with contract requirements. </li><li>Participate in negotiation of major agreements and amendments to the Contracts. </li><li>Coordinate and interface with other decisions including Operations, Q&T, Logistics, Finance in North American and Europe to develop the business proposition. </li><li>Manage Inside Sales personnel specific to the New Hartford operations </li><li>Set goals and objectives for inside sales team and coordinate with regional directors for specific objectives for outside sales reps. </li><li>Travel requirement is minimal. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Contract Negotiation </li><li>Contract Management </li><li>Strategic Thinker </li><li>Analytical </li><li>Self-Starter </li><li>Ability to drive action/change </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Experience working on cross-functional teams </li><li>Experience with analysis, administration and/or management of contracts highly desired </li><li>Previous experience in commercial, export experience of benefit but not essential </li><li>College Degree Education level with preference for Engineering and or Advanced Business Qualifications </li></ul> <p>Special Skills</p> <ul> <li>Multi-year contract negotiating skills with strong financial and legal components </li><li>Strong financial analysis </li><li>Ability to formulate improvement plans and engage with other TIMET disciplines to deliver to these plans </li><li>Ability to develop strong enduring relationships </li><li>Strong computer skills </li><li>Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment. </li><li>This role involves some overseas travel </li></ul> <p>Additional Notes</p> <ul> <li>The Company retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position. </li></ul> <p>Physical Dimensions</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.</p> <p>This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
