Has a strong belief in the mission and goals of the company and the capability of working in a team environment are necessary for this position.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Accurately reads and understands printed Delivery Tickets to ensure the correct material is loaded prior to leaving the yard. </li><li>Ensures all materials listed on Heibar purchase order is received from 3rd party vendors and delivered safely to job sites or back to Heibar for processing. </li><li>Photographs all deliveries at time of delivery at the job site and uploaded into the BisTrack App. </li><li>Contacts the Field Superintendent to notify at time of delivery. </li><li>Ensures proper storage, transportation, and handling of all materials to protect from damage. </li><li>Follows all traffic laws and safety requirements. </li><li>Limits time on site to no more than an hour. If you are going to be on site longer, you are required to notify your supervisor as soon as possible. (With the exception of first runs due to curfew times, but at 7:00 AM you should be starting to offload) The time in the yard should be limited to no more than 45 minutes unless you are taking your lunch break. </li><li>Demonstrates a commitment to the quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement, identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers; participates as a team player in all phases of the organization; and is open and responsive to change. </li><li>Complies with all company policies and procedures. </li><li>Is present at workstation wearing personal protection equipment and ready to work at starting time. </li><li>Maintains a tidy work area. </li><li>Other duties as assigned within the reasonable scope of role responsibilities. </li></ul> <p>Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Colorado State driver's license with a clean MVR </li><li>Minimum 2 years' experience in driving larger box truck or flatbed type vehicles required. </li><li>Knowledge of common building materials used in residential, multi-family and commercial construction. </li><li>Knowledge of component manufacturing processes used in residential, multi-family and commercial construction. </li><li>Comfortable in an individual performance role with the ability to receive instruction. </li><li>Attention to detail, takes pride in quality of work. </li><li>Efficient and able to complete assignments within a given deadline. </li><li>Strong team work ethic </li><li>Communicates effectively with team members. </li></ul> <p>Why Clayton?</p> <p>A Berkshire Hathaway Company - an integrity-based organization offering unlimited career growth opportunities.</p> <p>Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
