<p>Sr. Deposit Operations Specialist</p> <p>About this Role</p> <p>Are you passionate about operational excellence and making a meaningful impact in banking? As a Deposit Operations Specialist at First Bank, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of deposit-related transactions, with a special focus on legal orders. You'll collaborate with internal teams, customers, and external agencies to deliver exceptional service, safeguard compliance, and drive process improvements. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise, contribute to a high-performing team, and help shape the future of banking operations.</p> <p>In this Role You Will</p> <ul> <li>Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Accurately process subpoenas, levies, garnishments, and other legal orders in accordance with federal and state regulations and internal policies. </li><li>Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide expert guidance and support to branch staff and customers regarding deposit transactions and legal order status. </li><li>Resolve Complex Issues: Address and resolve inquiries related to deposits, account discrepancies, and transaction errors with professionalism and efficiency. </li><li>Maintain Accurate Documentation: Prepare, maintain, and report on all legal orders and deposit transactions, supporting audits and regulatory reviews. </li><li>Drive Process Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the Deposit Operations team. </li><li>Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Liaise with courts, attorneys, government agencies, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate responses to legal requests. </li><li>Safeguard Confidentiality: Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy in all aspects of deposit and legal order processing. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Competencies and Skills</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>In house experience of two years or more in any of the above areas or advanced knowledge in one or more areas. </li><li>PC proficiency in Word and Excel; 10 key by touch' is preferred. </li><li>Multi-lingual, a plus </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred. </li><li>1-3 years of experience in banking operations or a related field. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and core banking systems. </li><li>Strong analytical and organizational skills. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements and internal policies. </li><li>Commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service. </li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Attention to detail and a proactive approach to process improvement. </li></ul> <p>Be a part of a growing company that is truly committed to its employees and clients.
