Our Renewable Energy segment leverages strong execution and development capabilities to power a cleaner future.</p> <p>Key Roles and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Leverage AI and LLM tools to enhance coding efficiency: Develop code snippets, explore proof-of-concept (POC) solutions, and accelerate learning by developing. </li><li>Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications. </li><li>Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving bugs under guidance. </li><li>Implement updates, improvements, or refactoring tasks under supervision. </li><li>Write and execute unit tests to validate application behaviour, verify fixes, and help ensure overall functional stability. </li><li>Write functional specifications and document system behaviours, changes, and test outcomes for internal use. </li><li>Work with cross-functional teams, including developers and analysts, to gather requirements, understand user needs, and ensure seamless integration of the new microservice. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Skills & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. </li><li>Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, Java). </li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably?Microsoft Azure, and its services. </li><li>Understanding of microservice architecture principles is a plus. </li><li>Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate technical information clearly. </li><li>Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies and systems. </li><li>Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate effectively in a team environment. </li><li>Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Our Culture at Sembcorp</p> <p>At Sembcorp, our culture is shaped by a strong set of shared behaviours that guide the way we work and uphold our commitment to driving the energy transition.</p> <p>We foster an institution-first mindset, where the success of Sembcorp takes precedence over individual interests.
