<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Clinical Exercise Specialist is degreed and ACSM certified to work with medical referrals; demonstrates an aptitude and desire to work with clinical patients, implementing and facilitating medically-based ForeverFit exercise programs; works closely with Fitness Manager. Tracks and reports outcomes and metrics. Provide fitness equipment orientations to members and guests; meet/greet all members and assist with their daily workouts as requested. As well as perform fitness assessments and offer educational information for members, guests and participating events.</p> <p>ACCOUNTABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Implement medically-based exercise programs for medical referrals. </li><li>Provide fitness assessments and educational information to clinical clients, patients and members assisting them with disease management and preventive care. </li><li>Provide fitness assessments and equipment orientations to members and guests; meet/greet all members and assist with their daily workouts as requested </li><li>Maintain member/prospective member workout records including Epic documentation, complete excel spreadsheets, and maintain proper documentation in all clinical exercise program files. </li><li>Actively promote club programs and activities to members and prospective members. Follow all general club/company policies and procedures. </li><li>Complete all required daily fitness floor activities, cleaning responsibilities, equipment safety checks, log sheets and reporting </li><li>Partner with Icaria and assist with stress testing and evaluations. </li><li>Accept and complete any assignment deemed appropriate by the Fitness Manager, Operations Manager or any other manager </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's Degree in a fitness or health related field. </li><li>Skills: Positive motivator, outgoing, friendly, good communication skills, desire to exceed, enjoys working with others to improve their health & well-being, good computer skills, competent skills in exercise testing/assessments. Demonstrate promotional and sales aptitude, have a strong affiliation with the product, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, accountable for time, exemplify mission of ProMedica. </li><li>License: Valid driver's license </li><li>Certification: ACE, ACSM, NSCA, NASM, or working toward successful completion of certification (ACSM required within 6 months of hire). </li><li>Must be BLS/AED certified. </li></ul> <p>ProMedica is a mission-based, not-for-profit integrated healthcare organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.
