<p>The Property Claims Quality & Compliance Supervisor is a salary-based position that comes with full benefits and promotional opportunities. This role is a key position in our succession planning ideal for expert homeowner claims technicians with management potential. Plymouth Rock Assurance is seeking a strategic and execution-focused leader to build and lead an industry-leading Quality & Compliance function for the Homeowners Claims organization.</p> <p>This role will be accountable for the design, governance, and ongoing performance of a best-in-class quality assurance system that ensures claim files are handled accurately, consistently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. This leader will oversee an independent Quality Assurance team, partner closely with Claims Operations to drive corrective action, and serve as the primary steward of compliance across licensing, regulatory adherence, and Department of Insurance (DOI) interactions.</p> <p>Plymouth Rock knows that happy employees promote satisfied customers, and that a successful, fulfilling employee experience makes all the difference. You will be joining a?fast-moving?team with a focus on helping customers through a trying time, and we will collaborate to make Plymouth Rock the best company we can be.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of P&C claims experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within Quality, Compliance, Audit, or Claims Operations. </li><li>Ability to obtain licensure in New York, Connecticut and New Hampshire </li><li>Deep expertise in homeowners claims handling standards, best practices, and regulatory expectations. </li><li>Proven experience designing or advancing a structured QA program or governance model. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to drive action from insights - influencing without direct control. </li><li>Strong analytical, written communication, and executive-level presentation skills. </li><li>Experience managing DOI inquiries, market conduct exams, or compliance disputes strongly preferred. </li><li>Bachelor's degree required; professional designations (CPCU, AINS, AIC) or JD a plus. </li><li>Ability to carry up to 25lbs and conduct roof inspections on homes <2 stories </li><li>Valid Driver's License and proficient driving record </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Quality System Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Architect and oversee a comprehensive, end-to-end quality assurance framework for Homeowners Claims covering coverage determinations, investigation quality, estimate accuracy, communications, cycle time adherence, reserving, and customer experience. </li><li>Lead an independent QA team responsible for file reviews, scoring, trend identification, and outcome reporting. </li><li>Establish and maintain a formal calibration program (quarterly at minimum) to ensure consistency in standards, scoring, and interpretation across QA and operational leadership. </li><li>Develop dashboards and reporting for executive leadership, including root-cause analysis, thematic risk insights, and recommendations. </li></ul> <p>Operational Integration & Actioning</p> <ul> <li>Partner with Claims Operations leadership to ensure QA findings translate into measurable performance improvements through training, coaching, playbook changes, or system enhancements. </li><li>Monitor corrective action plans and confirm closure on repeat or systemic quality issues. </li><li>Facilitate governance forums with Claims Leadership and Enterprise Risk to establish accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Regulatory Oversight</p> <ul> <li>Ensure Homeowners Claims processes, documentation, and decisions remain compliant with state regulations, claims handling standards, and carrier policies. </li><li>Own and administer adjuster licensing, continuing education tracking, and audit readiness. </li><li>Serve as the central point of coordination and response for Department of Insurance complaints, inquiries, and market conduct examinations. </li><li>Monitor changes in regulatory landscape and proactively drive procedural updates to maintain compliance. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $104,000 to $138,000 annually.
