<p>Assistant Professor, Clinical - Department of Emergency Medicine</p> <p>Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Assistant Professor, Clinical - Department of Emergency Medicine at its Detroit campus location.</p> <p>Wayne State is a premier, public, urban research university located in the heart of Detroit, Michigan where students from all backgrounds are offered a rich, high-quality education. Our deep-rooted commitment to excellence, collaboration, integrity, diversity and inclusion creates exceptional educational opportunities which prepare students for success in a global society.</p> <p>Essential functions (job duties):</p> <p>Teach emergency medicine residents, medical students, and fellows.</p> <p>Ultrasound Faculty with responsibility for training the Fellows,</p> <p>Residents, and students.</p> <p>Participate in and support the department's academic and research</p> <p>activities. Participate in Point of Care Ultrasound research, including</p> <p>original investigation, data reviews, and publications in peer-reviewed</p> <p>journals.</p> <p>Attend CC meetings and serve on department and professional</p> <p>committees at the local, regional, and/or national levels.
