<p>Description</p> <p>Title: Database Manager (NO C2C or 1099, W2 ONLY)</p> <p>Location: Denver, Colorado</p> <p>Duration: 6 month CTH</p> <p>Environment: 5x/week onsite!!!</p> <p>Pay: $80-$85/hour W2, conversion salary is $160k-$180k (W2 ONLY)</p> <p>DUE TO CLIENT REQUIREMENTS USC or GC HOLDERS ONLY</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>We are seeking a seasoned Database Migration Lead to oversee the data platform migration for the EFTPS system-responsible for processing over $4.8 trillion annually-as part of a multi-year Azure GovCloud transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the cloud migration database team, managing three core technologies: Azure SQL, Databricks, and Cosmos DB.</p> <p>Key Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in Azure environments, ideally with GovCloud exposure. </li><li>5+ years of proven technical leadership, driving complex migration or modernization projects. </li><li>Deep, hands-on expertise in at least 2 of the 3 platforms: Azure SQL, Databricks, Cosmos DB. </li><li>Proficient in NoSQL and non-relational databases such as MongoDB and Cosmos DB. </li><li>Strong track record of migrating legacy platforms (e.g., IBM Mainframe) to modern Azure cloud-based solutions. </li><li>Troubleshoot software and hardware issues </li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to interface with both technical teams and stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a leader who can guide a mission-critical federal system through one of the most significant cloud modernization efforts in the country.</p>
