<p>Job Title: Superintendent</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>As a Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in building strong relationships with the project team, ownership team, and stakeholders. You will ensure the timely and successful turnover of projects, primarily focusing on driving project schedules and supervising construction activities. You will lead quality assurance and quality control efforts, ensure safety compliance, and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Build strong relationships with the project team, ownership team, and stakeholders. </li><li>Ensure projects are completed on time and ready for turnover. </li><li>Supervise day-to-day construction activities and drive project schedules. </li><li>Lead quality assurance and quality control according to plan drawings. </li><li>Prepare and transmit various reports via Procore, including daily reports, manpower counts, project status, and photos. </li><li>Resolve issues and conflicts with the project team and vendor partners. </li><li>Inspect safety, quality, and progress on the job site daily. </li><li>Oversee and enforce safety regulations, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. </li><li>Assist with inventory control, receiving shipments, and organizing materials. </li><li>Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed. </li><li>Perform light to moderate lifting and other physical tasks to support job site operations. </li><li>Collaborate with subcontractors and team members to ensure efficient workflow. </li><li>Address and resolve any on-site issues that may arise. </li><li>Possess the ability to work on projects anywhere in the continental United States. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>2-3 years of related experience in the restaurant, retail, fuel, and/or hotel construction sectors. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction site plans, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. </li><li>Proficient writing and communication skills for creating reports and correspondence. </li><li>Effective public speaking skills for communication with groups of customers or vendor partners. </li><li>Experience with Procore is preferred. </li><li>Ability to complete daily field reports, scan receipts, and submit digital pictures using a laptop, phone, and/or tablet. </li><li>Willingness and ability to travel nationwide. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in ground-up hotel, restaurant, and fuel station construction is advantageous. </li><li>Strong communication skills are essential. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role requires 100% nationwide travel, with frequent projects involving well-known establishments such as Chick-fil-A, Wawa, and Texas Roadhouse. The position offers a vehicle allowance, gas card, housing coverage, and home trips every three weeks (or the option to fly a spouse out for a long weekend). There is an annual superintendent competition, where top performers can earn $25,000, a new vehicle, and nationwide recognition.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of Louisville, KY.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.</p> <p>Vehicle allowance, gas card, they pay for housing, home trips ever 3 weeks (or fly spouse out) for a long weekend.
