<p>Kforce has a client in search of a Workday Engineer for a contract-to-hire role in Salt Lake or Utah Counties.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Workday Engineer will manage the full HRIS infrastructure, including servers, databases, cloud environments, and third-party integrations </li><li>Spearhead the implementation of new HRIS modules, functionalities, and integrations to meet evolving business needs </li><li>Develop and maintain integrations between the HRIS and other critical HR, payroll, and business systems using APIs, middleware, and custom coding </li><li>Perform advanced HRIS configurations, customizations, and test automation to enhance user experiences and streamline workflows </li><li>As a Workday Engineer, you will analyze HRIS data to generate insightful reports and dashboards that support strategic HR decision-making </li><li>Provide technical expertise, training, and user support to HRIS end-users across the organization </li><li>Ensure robust HRIS security, access controls, disaster recovery, and data protection measures are in place </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, and business leaders to align the HRIS roadmap with organizational goals* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field </li><li>5+ years of progressive experience as an HRIS Engineer, HR Systems Analyst, or similar technical HR role </li><li>Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies, project management, and process improvement initiatives </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of HR business processes, data structures, and reporting requirements </li><li>Proficient in HRIS software development, including programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL), databases, web technologies, and API integrations </li><li>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders </li><li>Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline </li><li>Certification in leading HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP) </li><li>Experience leading large-scale HRIS implementation or transformation projects </li><li>Knowledge of HR compliance regulations, data privacy laws, and cybersecurity best practices </li></ul>
