<p>Are you passionate about helping kids be their best selves?</p> <p>UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a Full-Time Nurse Manager, OP to support the offices in Hummelstown and Mechanicsburg.</p> <p>Evening and weekend availability required to support the hours of operation.</p> <p>Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday 5pm-9pm, Saturday 12pm-8pm, Sunday 10am-6pm</p> <p>Prior pediatric office experience strongly preferred.</p> <p>Purpose:</p> <p>Lead and manage the clinical, operational, and administrative functions of a healthcare practice to ensure high-quality patient care and a supportive work environment for staff.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily operations, staffing, and patient flow to ensure efficient, compassionate care. </li><li>Collaborate with physicians and staff to improve clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and safety. </li><li>Manage budgets, resources, and regulatory compliance while optimizing billing and documentation. </li><li>Support staff development through coaching, training, and performance management. </li><li>Drive quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices. </li><li>Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years Nursing Experience required. </li><li>Progressive leadership experience with relevant clinical experience preferred. </li><li>BSN or Bachelors in related health care field required. </li><li>MSN or Masters in a health care field preferred. </li></ul> <p>Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:</p> <ul> <li>Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse either in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement with the state where the facility is located. </li><li>CPR Certification CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) </li><li>Registered Nurse (RN) </li><li>Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
