<p>Job Description:</p> <p>NOTICE OF VACANCY</p> <p>Guilford High School</p> <p>Crossing Guard</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Under the direction of the Principal and/or their designee, the Crossing Guard is responsible for ensuring the safe and orderly flow of vehicles and pedestrians in the high school parking lot during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal. This includes directing traffic to promote safety for drivers, students, and staff; monitoring crosswalks and walkways; and exercising sound judgment in managing potential traffic hazards. The Crossing Guard will assist students and visitors in safely navigating the parking lot, cooperate with school officials to enforce safety protocols, and help reinforce safe traffic behaviors within the school community</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Ability to react quickly and calmly in emergency situations. Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
