This role has a corresponding incentive plan based on multiple factors. incentive compensation and additional benefits can be found on our Rush benefits page (https://www.rush.edu/rush-careers/employee-benefits)</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Serves as a key contributor supporting Rush's non-clinical value analysis, strategic sourcing, and category management initiatives through advanced analytics, contracting support, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and presenting operational, financial, sourcing, and utilization data to support internal decision-making, external reporting requirements, supplier evaluations, and contract optimization initiatives. The Value Analysis Coordinator partners with Strategic Sourcing Managers, Finance, IT, Operations, and Supply Chain leadership to evaluate products, services, and technology-related categories with a focus on standardization, operational efficiency, and cost savings. This position supports RFP execution, supplier analysis, category reviews, and value analysis initiatives from intake through implementation and performance monitoring. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.</p> <p>Other information:</p> <p>Required Job Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's Degree with at least two (2) years of relevant professional experience. </li><li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess clinical, operational, and financial impact. </li><li>Ability to engage and facilitate collaboration among multidisciplinary stakeholders. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. </li><li>Experience supporting or managing cross-functional projects. </li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and the ability to learn internal systems and tools. </li><li>Demonstrated customer service focus and collaborative work style. </li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Job Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree. </li><li>Fields of study include healthcare administration, business, supply chain, or related clinical specialty. </li><li>Familiarity with healthcare products, services, or operations. </li><li>Experience in value analysis, strategic sourcing, or supply chain in a healthcare setting. </li><li>Experience supporting external reporting, benchmarking, or compliance-related data submissions. </li><li>Basic to intermediate negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable pricing and terms without compromising quality. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Supports all phases of the value analysis process-intake, evaluation, decision-making, and implementation for non-clinical products and services.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates committee meetings, prepares materials, tracks action items, and ensures alignment among operational, financial, and supply chain stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops, validates, and maintains recurring operational, financial, compliance, and external reporting deliverables to support organizational and industry reporting requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs data aggregation, cleansing, and analysis across ERP, purchasing, contract, and operational systems to identify trends, utilization patterns, savings opportunities, and operational efficiencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports IT sourcing and non-clinical contracting initiatives through spend analysis, supplier evaluation, market benchmarking, contract performance analysis, and savings opportunity identification.</p> </li><li> <p>Creates executive-level reporting tools to communicate sourcing performance, savings initiatives, compliance metrics, and operational outcomes.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports the execution of RFPs (Requests for Proposals), including preparing specifications, analyzing bids, and coordinating supplier evaluations.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the development of short and long-term sourcing plans for specific product or service categories.</p> </li><li> <p>Manages and negotiates categories and contracts as assigned by the Director or Sourcing Managers.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists procurement with any pricing discrepancies related to contracts.</p> </li><li> <p>The Value Analysis Program Manager will follow the I CARE values of Rush University System for Health: Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence</p> </li></ol> <p>Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
