<p>The Vice President, Consumer Lending has oversight responsibility for the following Consumer Lending activities: Direct Lending, Indirect Lending, Home Equity Lines/Loans and Correspondent Residential Mortgages.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Implements the strategic goals and objectives of the Bank and provides direction toward the achievement of the Banks mission, strategy, and annual objectives. </li><li>Develops, plans, implements and monitors the overall objectives, policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of all functions within Consumer Lending, to include Indirect Auto Loans, Direct Consumer Loans, Home Equities and Residential Mortgages generated by our Correspondent Lending Relationship. </li><li>Reviews financial reports, systems, and procedures, as well as interprets production results, analyzes market trends, and other financially related activities. </li><li>Assures that the assigned areas of responsibility are conducted in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal laws and ensures satisfactory audits and regulatory exams. </li><li>Manages production to realize desired Consumer Lending and Home Equity portfolio objectives in terms of type and size of loans, interest rates, terms offered and credit quality. </li><li>Manages rate locks, quality control and HMDA reporting for residential mortgages acquired as part of the Banks correspondent lending relationship in a timely fashion. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining and updating Indirect and Direct Lending Procedures, along with Home Equity and correspondent lending relationship procedures, as appropriate. </li><li>Responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to Indirect and Direct Policies, as appropriate, to ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulations. </li><li>Responsible for assuring that the Bank establishes and maintains relationships with dealers. </li><li>Keeps informed of competition, rates, buying practices and other trends within the auto finance industry. </li><li>Additional responsibilities include new product development and recommending pricing of all Consumer Lending products and services. </li><li>Manages Consumer Lending team and provides weekly staff coaching. </li><li>Participates in community service activities demonstrating leadership and a commitment to the communities the Bank serves. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Pay $130,000 to $150,000 annually, based on experience </li><li>Time Off 25 days of paid time off to support work-life balance </li><li>Retirement & Equity Generous 401(k) match </li><li>Training & Development Onboarding with classroom, webinar, and hands-on learning </li><li>Mentorship Supportive environment with experienced professionals to help you grow </li><li>Community Involvement Paid volunteer hours to give back to local causes </li></ul> <p>Why Rhinebeck Bank?</p> <p>Since 1860, Rhinebeck Bank has been a cornerstone of the Hudson Valley community.
