<p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Strategic Leadership & Organizational Management</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute a global strategy for milling consumables. </li><li>Identify market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities. </li><li>Oversee P&L, budgeting, and resource allocation for the global product line. </li><li>Lead a global matrix team to foster collaboration across Sales areas and functions </li><li>Mentor talent, drive performance management, and build succession pipelines. </li></ul> <p>Product & Innovation</p> <ul> <li>Own the end-to-end product lifecycle. </li><li>Work closely with R&D to prioritize investments aligned with customer needs. </li><li>Champion innovation in materials science, digital solutions and sustainability. </li></ul> <p>Commercial Excellence</p> <ul> <li>Drive with Sales to develop pricing strategies, value propositions, and key account plans. </li><li>Enable technical teams to support complex customer solutions </li></ul> <p>Operational & Quality Governance</p> <ul> <li>Ensure manufacturing standards (quality, cost, delivery) are met with Operations teams. </li><li>Drive continuous improvement in product design, sourcing, and supply chain resilience. </li><li>Mitigate risks (raw material volatility, geopolitical disruptions). </li></ul> <p>Leadership Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>10-15+ years in industrial/consumables sectors (mining, cement, heavy equipment). Experience in mill lining / milling consumables is a must </li><li>Proven global leadership: Managed teams across =3 regions; navigated matrix structures. </li><li>P&L ownership: Experience managing portfolios >xxM revenue. </li><li>Technical background: Engineering or materials science exposure (e.g., metallurgy, tribology). </li><li>Product management: Launched and scaled consumable products globally. </li><li>Business Development / M&A : Successful implementation of business development activities including inorganic growth </li><li></li></ul> <p>Core Competencies & Skills</p> <p>Strategic Agility: Balance long-term vision with tactical execution. Global Influencer: Bridge cultural gaps, align stakeholders, and drive consensus. Technical Acumen: Understand milling processes, wear mechanisms, and material science. Commercial Savvy: Translate technical features into customer value. Talent Developer: Build high-performing, psychologically safe teams. Crisis Management: Navigate supply chain disruptions or quality incidents. Data-Driven: Proficient in analytics (e.g., cost modeling, market intelligence).</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Mandatory: Bachelor's in Engineering (Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical) or Business. </li><li>Preferred: MBA or advanced technical degree. </li></ul>
