<p>NuCO2, the largest, best, and only national provider of beverage grade CO2 to the Foodservice and Hospitality Industry is a growth company.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Material handling of awkward and heavy CO2 vessels up to 6 ft. tall and weighing up to 750 lbs. </li><li>Checks and detects leaks in vessels at welds and seams using Mass Spectrometer Equipment. </li><li>Makes determination if tested tank goes to welder for repairs or to vacuum queue. </li><li>Maintains production quota on a daily basis. </li><li>Maintains Helium and Nitrogen cylinders for use in Process. </li><li>Performs preventive maintenance of equipment and changes oil on schedule while maintaining documentation of same. </li><li>Maintains an extremely clean and well-organized work area. </li><li>The ability as a condition of employment to follow company safety policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in written or oral form. </li><li>Ability to read and legibly write basic correspondence and accurately convey information. </li><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. </li><li>Has knowledge of basic hand tools. </li><li>Possesses basic mechanical skills. </li><li>Has basic knowledge of gasses used in process (Helium, Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND TRAINING:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Technical Degree considered a plus. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Should possess basic equipment troubleshooting skills. </li><li>Good employment record demonstrating good job stability. </li><li>Quality Control testing experience using instrumentation is considered a plus. </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:</p> <ul> <li>No certificates, licenses, or registrations required. </li><li>Will be expected to take courses in vacuum technology and helium leak detection techniques. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods. </li><li>Must be able to maneuver tanks weighing up to 430 lbs. and up to 6 ft. tall into position to test. </li><li>Must be able to bend, stretch, pull, and go into kneeling position and return to standing position multiple times per day. </li></ul>
