To learn more about MCC, please visit https://madisonville.kctcs.edu/ and to learn more about Madisonville and the surrounding area, you may visit https://visitmadisonvilleky.com.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate the overall clinical aspects of the respiratory care program activities with the Program Director and Associate Dean of Health Sciences. </li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in instruction, evaluation, and supervision of students. </li><li>Coordinate clinical education with didactic education. </li><li>Coordinate clinical activities and maintain clinical competencies. </li><li>Provide direct and indirect supervision of students while with students at clinical sites. </li><li>Develop clinical schedules, syllabi, and orientation information. </li><li>Oversee the collection, maintenance, and reporting of all documentation, in CastleBranch, required by the clinical sites. </li><li>Participate in local events related to student recruitment and any other activities related to the respiratory care program and community outreach. </li><li>Comply with standards for accreditation Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). </li><li>Maintain confidential student records in compliance with MCC policies and procedures. </li><li>Maintain clinical and educational competencies in area of instruction. </li><li>Participate in department and college committee assignments, student advising, community service, and professional development activities. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is </li></ul> <p>preferred</p> <ul> <li>Four (4) year's work experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least two (2) years in clinical respiratory care </li><li>Two (2) years' experience teaching either as an appointed faculty member in a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program or as a clinical instructor/preceptor for students of such programs </li><li>Must hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential and current unencumbered state license; </li><li>Community college teaching experience is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Application Process:</p> <p>Application Deadline: Open Until Filled.
