<p>Registered Nurse - Clinic</p> <p>Monday - Friday/ 8a - 5p</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The RN will assist the provider throughout the clinic with a variety of duties to ensure smooth and effective patient care. This includes accurately recording patient history, monitoring medical records, managing supplies and equipment, and scheduling patient appointments. The role requires communication with hospitals and nursing homes, relaying test results, and initiating patient education.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Accurately record patient history per policy. </li><li>Retrieve initial basic condition of patients and create nursing history reports for the practitioner. </li><li>Monitor and ensure accuracy of recording on patient medical records. </li><li>Maintain all required reports, records, and statistics. </li><li>Ensure adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipment. </li><li>Inspect the area daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, taking corrective action when necessary. </li><li>Schedule all outside patient appointments per physician order and relay information accurately to patients. </li><li>Take calls from hospitals/nursing homes and relay appropriate information to the practitioner in a timely manner. </li><li>Ensure test results are received and relayed to the patient promptly. </li><li>Complete medical orientation checklist. </li><li>Initiate appropriate patient education. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Registered Nurse with state of TN or compact state certification. </li><li>BLS Certification. </li><li>EKG Experience. </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
