Candidates that do not possess a bachelor's degree must have a minimum of 7 years of related work experience.</p> <p>Specialized Knowledge and Skills</p> <p>Demonstrated knowledge of records management principles; knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements regarding procedures, best practices and records management. Demonstrated technical knowledge of operation of records management systems/software applications, records retention schedules and policies, and library science. Demonstrated skills in working in a team-oriented environment and independently. Demonstrated skills in bringing together a wide range of ideas, facilitate a win-win resolution with designated deadlines. Demonstrated organization, communication skills (orally and written), decision making, project coordination, attention to detail, customer service, and organizational skills.</p> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <p>Strong analytical skills and demonstrated knowledge in data analysis.</p> <p>Equipment and Applications</p> <p>PCs, word processing, spreadsheet and database software.</p> <p>Work Environment and Physical Demands</p> <p>General office environment. Moderate amount of lifting (up to 40 pounds) standing and walking involved as essential part of job.</p> <p>Note:</p> <p>Depending on qualifications of applicants, this position may be filled at a lower level than that which is posted such as Associate Information Records Management Analyst or Information Records Management Analyst.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assists with developing and implementing all aspects of the Records Management (RM) program incorporating all electronic and physical records, legal discovery, federal and state regulatory requirements. </li><li>Provides input to recommended action plans/solutions to address identified gaps and weaknesses in the program. </li><li>Implements tools to measure and monitor the program to provide meaningful reporting for leadership. </li><li>Identifies Records eligible for destruction and manages destruction process in accordance with corporate policy and applicable regulations. </li><li>Develops retention schedules and compliance plans to ensure departments records are maintained in compliance with regulations and current best practices. </li><li>Collaborates with business leaders to develop Electronic Content and Records Management (ECRM) best practices for specific business needs; understands business processes/interrelationships across the enterprise. </li><li>Provides assistance to the legal team in Records productions. </li><li>Establishes positive working relationships with business partners to foster compliance with the information management program and identify areas for enhancement. </li><li>Promotes and fosters systematic and efficient information management initiatives, including clear and easy-to-understand training and education so users may comply with relevant policies and handle Records and accordance with the Records Retention Schedule. </li><li>Develops, documents and conducts progressive levels of training for the records program. </li><li>Serves as project team lead to develop strategy and processes including process analysis, training and implementation. </li><li>Advocates for the importance of and compliance with Records and Information management at all levels within the organization. </li><li>Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company. </li><li>Performs related duties as assigned. </li></ul>
