<p>Kforce has a clilent in Bedford, MA that is seeking a Senior Accountant Compensation.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and review global payroll and compensation-related journal entries </li><li>Support accounting for payroll, bonuses, incentives, and other compensation programs </li><li>Partner with Payroll, HR, and Finance teams to ensure accurate accounting treatment and timely close activities </li><li>Build and maintain strong balance sheet and compensation-related reconciliations, including reconciliations created from scratch </li><li>Perform detailed analytics to identify discrepancies, trends, and risks within payroll and compensation data </li><li>Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely and well-documented manner </li><li>Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for compensation and payroll accounting processes </li><li>Ensure reconciliations and processes are repeatable, well-controlled, and audit-ready </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls within existing processes </li><li>Utilize ERP systems (Oracle preferred) to support accounting, reconciliations, and reporting activities </li><li>Leverage Excel extensively for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting </li><li>Work closely with cross-functional partners across Finance, Payroll, and HR, including global stakeholders </li><li>Clearly communicate issues, findings, and recommendations to internal partners* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field </li><li>5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with exposure to compensation and/or payroll accounting preferred </li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial close processes </li><li>Prior experience with global payroll accounting is a plus </li><li>Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is preferred </li></ul>
