TAG professionals specialize largely in providing financial and accounting buy-side and sell-side due diligence, capital markets and accounting advisory, global transaction analytics, environmental, technical & sustainability (ETS) and other related M&A services for private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family office and corporate clients around the world</p> <p>Global Transaction Analytics (GTA)</p> <p>A&M's Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) practice, within our Transaction Advisory Group, has an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Houston, Nashville and Boston. We are seeking an Associate to bring their energy, passion, and expertise to help our clients get the answers they need to get the deal done across the investment lifecycle from pre-deal to post-deal analysis.</p> <p>A&M GTA provides data analytics services to clients to uncover maximum actionable insights to support their M&A, divestment and investment strategy. GTA is a global team which leverages market leading technology, advanced analytics capabilities, and A&M's operational, functional and industry expertise to drive relevant business insights. Our global team provides analytics as a service to private equity and corporates across the transaction lifecycle.</p> <p>How will you contribute?</p> <p>As an Associate in our GTA practice, you will have the opportunity to work with our highly motivated and effective team of professionals on a variety of interesting projects across different industries including but not limited to manufacturing, distribution, consumer, retail, restaurants, business and industrial services as well as healthcare, software & technology, energy and financial services. You will add value to our clients by offering data-enabled business, financial, and operational transparency during pre-acquisition due diligence or post-acquisitions performance improvement projects.</p> <p>Responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with numerous client engagements </li><li>Extract insights from data sets and trends by utilizing different tools and techniques </li><li>Effectively facilitate day-to-day client interaction and relationships </li><li>Work cohesively and collaboratively across stakeholders </li><li>Counsel and mentor junior members of the team and continue to develop the team's technical acumen </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A minimum of 2+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services</p> </li><li> <p>Buy-side/vendor due diligence experience across industries preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of M&A / PE investment lifecycle preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems or a related field</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of data extraction, manipulation, analytics and visualization approaches</p> </li><li> <p>Strong technical background with hands-on data analytics experience</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, relational databases/SQL querying, Alteryx, business intelligence/visualization (Tableau preferred), big data and machine learning concepts</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to leverage business intelligence software</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a through yet concise manner</p> </li><li> <p>Exceptional project management skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Flexibility to work as both a team member in a collaborative setting and as an individual contributor</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to thrive and be effective in fast-paced settings</p> </li></ul> <p>Your journey at A&M</p> <p>We recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person's unique professional and personal development. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.
