<p>Description of Job Duty:</p> <p>The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Tennessee Tech University invites applications for multiple full-time, nine-month, tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks, beginning August 1, 2026. Deferred income and benefits over 12 months.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited institution. </li><li>Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution (must be completed by the start date of August 1, 2026). </li><li>The ability to communicate effectively and to develop and maintain an effective working relationship with faculty, students, administrators, and public. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution. </li><li>Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence at both undergraduate and graduate levels. </li><li>Strong potential to establish and sustain externally funded, high-quality research programs. <em></em>* Evidence of scholarly activity through peer-reviewed publications, especially in highly rated professional conferences, journals, and transactions. </li></ul> <p>Relevant post doctorate and/or industry experience in reputable academic institutes, national labs, and industries.</p> <ul> <li>Experience in mentoring undergraduate and/or graduate students in their thesis and projects. </li><li>Laboratory hardware/software skills are desirable in their respective specialties. </li><li>Verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by technical writing and oral presentations. </li></ul>
