Our network & solution partners have grown to include British Telecom, EE, Virgin Media O2, Ericsson, Rogers, Bell Canada, MasMovil, Telenor, FICO, Twilio, and more.</p> <p>About the Position</p> <p>Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of Finance will lead financial and accounting functions at Hiya globally, which include accounting and finance operations, financial and tax reporting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, and investor relations support. The role is a high impact role and will require a deep working partnership with the CEO, President and other key functions including HR, Legal, Product and Go-to-Market. The role will also include board reporting and support for specific corporate financial initiatives.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Accounting and finance operations</p> <ul> <li> <p>Overseeing all aspects of accounting operations</p> </li><li> <p>Build robust internal financial processes with relevant internal controls to ensure visibility into revenue performance, return on investments, and expense management.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee spend management (purchasing and procurement) processes purchasing and procurement</p> </li></ul> <p>Financial and tax reporting</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead all aspects of financial reporting to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure reliable internal reporting to the leadership team so that all aspects of performance can be evaluated timely and effectively</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining relationships with auditors and advisors on accounting and tax matters</p> </li></ul> <p>Treasury</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintaining relationships with banks and lenders and ensuring compliance with all treasury agreements</p> </li><li> <p>Managing cash flow and liquidity to optimize financial performance and support business operations</p> </li></ul> <p>Financial Planning and Analysis</p> <ul> <li> <p>Developing and executing financial strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets</p> </li><li> <p>Leading budgeting, forecasting, and internal KPI reporting processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Providing strategic guidance and recommendations on financial matters to executive and operating leadership teams</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare timely and accurate analyses, summaries and reports of financial data on the operating progress of the company</p> </li><li> <p>Routinely review revenue cycle metrics to identify and address issues affecting overall performance proactively</p> </li></ul> <p>Investor Relations</p> <ul> <li>Supporting the CEO and President for investor relations and board reporting activities, including preparation and analysis of board meeting materials and specific investor requests </li></ul> <p>Other</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leading financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other strategic initiatives to drive growth and expansion.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as trusted business partner to Hiya executive and operating leadership team members for key operating decisions</p> </li><li> <p>Building and leading a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualities that will make you successful:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proven work experience as a VP of Finance or similar role</p> </li><li> <p>Successful experience partnering with company executives and leadership on company performance, strategic initiatives, and financial planning</p> </li><li> <p>In-depth knowledge of financial benchmarking, accounting, audit and tax compliance and other regulatory matters</p> </li><li> <p>Adept in fiscal management principles and processes, including resource management and needs assessment</p> </li><li> <p>Possess critical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, as well as familiarity with federal, state, and international and non-US tax rules</p> </li><li> <p>A CPA license (active or inactive) and bachelor's degree in finance or accounting</p> </li></ul> <p>The person in this role must embody Hiya's key values of Serving our customers, Doing rather than observing, Improving ourselves and our business, Owning and holding ourselves accountable for success, and Leading by showing up with a point of view, engaging in open discussion, listening respectfully to others opinions and committing to decisions.</p> <p>The requirements listed in the job descriptions are guidelines. If your skills are transferable we would still love to hear from you.</p> <p>More Details</p> <p>The On Target Earning (OTE) for this role is between $270,600 - $335,300 with the base being $230,000- $285,000 + variable component of 15% of OTE. Bonus will be based on Individual performance/company performance.
