<p>Kforce's client is a prestigious, fast-paced law firm known for its commitment to excellence and exceptional client service. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team in River Edge, NJ. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and expense reimbursements in compliance with firm policies.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Process high-volume vendor invoices, check requests, and employee expense reimbursements in Elite </li><li>Review invoices for proper coding, authorization, and compliance with firm guidelines </li><li>Perform weekly and ad-hoc payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers </li><li>Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner </li><li>Maintain vendor master files, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information </li><li>Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff regarding billing and payment inquiries </li><li>Prepare AP-related reports for management as needed </li><li>Support month-end and year-end closing processes </li><li>Assist with special projects and audits as assigned* 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment </li><li>Hands-on experience with Elite software (3E or Enterprise) </li><li>Strong understanding of accounts payable best practices and internal controls </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; familiarity with document management systems preferred </li><li>High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off) </li><li>Professional development opportunities within a highly respected firm </li></ul>
