<p>Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Residential Aide will assist in ensuring effective service delivery. The Residential Aide will provide staff support and maintain program stability by providing assistance and monitoring the premises. The Residential Aide will be expected to engage with individuals experiencing homelessness as well as with Program and Outreach staff.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor the area and provide resources to clients </li><li>Maintain a welcoming, safe, stable environment for clients </li><li>Make hourly rounds within and outside the facility to ensure safety and security </li><li>Incident management: Report and document incidents, crisis interventions, communicate with on-call management team </li><li>Record keeping including documentation of daily attendance, shift report, visitors, writing progress notes </li><li>Greet people entering the site, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations </li><li>Circulate among residents, visitors, or employees to preserve order and protect property </li><li>Complete intakes, and property searches as needed, distribute mail </li><li>Accept and log all food deliveries and serve meals to clients. Willingness to complete food safety course </li><li>Screen residents and visitors and packages to prevent passage of prohibited articles into residence </li><li>Use company vehicle to transport clients to and from appointments in the community and as directed by program management </li><li>Provide relief support for 311 operations </li><li>Facilitate onsite laundry and shower resources for clients </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Two years of related experience </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required </li><li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Associates degree preferred </li><li>CPR and First Aid certifications a plus </li><li>Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness and/or mental health or substance use issues is a plus </li><li>Valid NY, NJ, CT, or PA driver's license with a good driving record, as defined by Breaking Ground is preferred </li></ul>
