<p>Staffmark is currently seeking an experienced Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in Morristown, TN. This is your chance to work in a collaborative environment where your financial expertise will directly impact business performance.</p> <p>Salary: $70,000-$85,000/year (based on experience)</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM</p> <p>In this role, you will be a strategic financial partner, supporting operational efficiency and profitability within a manufacturing setting. Your focus will include cost analysis, budgeting, inventory control, and reporting-providing leadership with the financial insights needed to drive continuous improvement and smart decision-making.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Analyze cost structures including materials, labor, and overhead </li><li>Lead and support annual budgeting and forecasting activities </li><li>Monitor manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, scrap rates, and inventory turns </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally on CAPEX projects and cost-saving initiatives </li><li>Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and performance summaries </li><li>Manage inventory valuation, reserves, and cycle counts </li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls </li><li>Identify and drive improvements in financial systems and processes </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field </li><li>Minimum 4 years of financial analysis experience, with 2+ years in manufacturing </li><li>Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience preferred (Infor M3 a plus) </li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills </li></ul> <p>Direct Hire Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary with bonus potential </li><li>Multiple medical plan options, plus dental, vision, and HSA with employer contributions </li><li>Daily pay option and safety equipment allowance </li><li>Professional development and peer recognition programs </li><li>Inclusive, team-oriented culture with employee engagement initiatives </li></ul> <p>Ready to Advance Your Career?</p> <p>Click "Apply Now" to take the next step.
