<p>Job Summary and Responsibilities</p> <p>The incumbent performs cleaning, sanitation and other environmental services and support duties involved in hospital maintenance. May access medication storage areas in accordance with their job function and hospital policy.</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Basic housekeeping practices and procedures, Proper handling/disposal of infectious waste, Proper safety skills in handling of housekeeping chemicals and equipment, Basic floor care practices </li><li>Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, infectious waste, floor and carpet care including knowledge of aseptic procedures, detergent/germicide solution and proper use and cleaning of equipment, proper use of safety standards and procedures in housekeeping skills. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li></ul> <p>Where You'll Work</p> <p>Built-in 1973, Dignity Health Methodist Hospital of Sacramento is committed to providing daily excellence in health care for residents of Sacramento's southern suburbs, including the Elk Grove, Wilton, and Galt communities.
