<p>CNC Principal Machinist - PMO Factory - Focus on Swiss Machines</p> <p>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Operate various advanced CNC machines and assist with set-ups of CNC machines. Primary job function will be the operation of Swiss-centered machinery. </li><li>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, read basic blueprints or mechanical drawings. </li><li>Recognize machining or manufacturing problems to produce defect free parts while meeting production rates. </li><li>Accurately perform measurement tasks utilizing measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc. </li><li>A major area of responsibility for this role will be the set-up and operation of a variety of production machinery to produce close-tolerance precision medical device parts, with an emphasis on verifying and validating new set-ups for production and first piece runs. </li></ul> <p>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Set up advanced CNC machinery such as 4 and 5 axis mills, Swiss machines, Lathes with live-tooling, etc. and operate advanced multi-axis CNC equipment, tools, and accessories for the fabrication and cutting of materials to process component parts.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain close tolerance dimensions while producing parts at the rates established for a given operation</p> </li><li> <p>Perform verification/validation of new set-up programs for new product or pre-production parts. Perform in-process and first piece inspection</p> </li><li> <p>Complete offset adjustments to multi-axis equipment to ensure product conforms to strict tolerance</p> </li><li> <p>Provides training and technical training to less experienced employees.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Experience Requirements:</p> <p>Two of the following requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 7-10 years of experience operating advanced CNC production equipment.
