<p>Overview</p> <p>The Lease Analyst is responsible for performing lease compliance reviews for charges related to Common Area Maintenance (CAM), Real Estate Taxes, Landlord Utilities, and Waste Management. This involves auditing of landlord billings against the lease obligations to ensure that all charges are accurate and in compliance with the lease. Facilitates payment and/or proper accrual of the corresponding expense obligations. Work closely with NY Real Estate to streamline lease language and understand requirements and costs. This position supports special projects related to landlord account reconciliations, tax projects, providing current information to Real Estate Deal Makers, and other projects focused on ensuring lease compliance and reducing expenses.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ensure all changes are in compliance with the lease and are in line with internally established thresholds. </li><li>Run queries to extract information from our PeopleSoft Accounting and Lucernex systems </li><li>Review and reconcile landlord billings/statements to actual payments made. </li><li>Ensure that all appropriate reviews and approvals are obtained for all Yearly Escrow Reconciliation payments. </li><li>Communicate with landlords via phone and written correspondence. </li><li>Ensure open lines of communication exist with all Real Estate areas. </li><li>Must be able to read and understand lease language. </li><li>Must be able to work well with fellow associates/ be an integral part of the team. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree or equivalent from college or trade school, or 6 months related experience and/or training. </li><li>Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, Access, etc.). </li><li>Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills. </li><li>Demonstrated experience working independently as well as in a team environment. </li></ul> <p>At Foot Locker, we value innovation, authenticity, and integrity in all that we do. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
