<p>At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and design Electronic Design Automation software that provides physical design capabilities for IC Package and Printed Circuit Board design.</p> </li><li> <p>Software development, debug and analysis in C/C++</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with Product Engineering and Customer Support to understand and capture requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop detailed functional specifications for new feature development and enhancements.</p> </li><li> <p>Architecting advanced ECAD flows, developing and integrating algorithms with user interface features</p> </li></ul> <p>The Team:</p> <p>At Cadence, we have a dedicated team of self driven, self motivated engineers. This team is developing Electronic Design Automation software focused on physical Package and PCB design.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>College grad with MS CE, CS, EE or equivalent and 2 years work experience in a software development role</p> </li><li> <p>Strong C/C++ development skills with a good understanding of object-oriented design</p> </li><li> <p>Strong background of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)</p> </li><li> <p>Passionate to learn and explore new technologies and demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in EDA tool development is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Good written and verbal communication skills; should be a quick learner and a team player</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Location:</p> <p>Burlington, Massachusetts (Greater Boston)</p> <p>We're doing work that matters.
