But we all share one goal: to improve the world responsibly and safely.</p> <p>THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD</p> <p>POSITION IS ONSITE - MUST BE WITHIN COMMUTING DISTANCE TO UNITED STATES COAST GUARD FACILITY IN ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINA</p> <p>KBR is seeking candidates for the following primary responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide IT infrastructure O&M sustainment. Stabilize, secure and modernize the USCG's IT infrastructure, improve integration of all USCG C5I systems, and create a collaborative team to enable a shared risk. </li><li>Stabilize and secure USCG's information technology infrastructure to fulfill mission outcomes. </li><li>Ensure the existing IT infrastructure is maintained and operates effectively allowing continuous access to business applications, information, and services. </li><li>Improve governance of IT assets, configuration, and change management to ensure a stable and efficient environment. </li><li>Support the USCG transition to a mature IT Managed Services environment, including migration to an appropriate mix of government and commercial cloud computing solutions. </li><li>Create a collaborative public/private partnership that will enable industry and USCG to share risk and achieve shared goals. </li></ul> <p>The Chief Technology Officer will oversee IT engineering and technology implementations, providing direction and guidance to the team.</p> <p>Qualifications: BS degree in relevant discipline plus 15 years of relevant experience.</p> <p>At KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
