<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Woodworker is responsible for assembling high-quality cabinets and wood products according to specifications and design plans. Works with a variety of wood shop tools and materials to ensure precision, durability, and aesthetic standards are met.</p> <p>Hours: Tuesday - Friday 6:00am - 4:30pm</p> <p>Wage: $24.00 - $25.00 / hour</p> <p>This role is onsite in Tigard, OR.</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Build and assemble cabinets and wood components from blueprints or work order </li><li>Measure, cut, shape, and join wood and other materials using hand and power tools </li><li>Inspect completed products for accuracy, quality, and structural integrity </li><li>Operate woodworking machinery (table saws, routers, sanders, etc.) safely and efficiently </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow safety guidelines </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred </li><li>2+ years of previous assembly experience with plywood, MDF, melamine, pvc </li><li>Laminating and veneering experience </li><li>Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a large variety of hand tools and basic knowledge of power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch. </li><li>Ability to work overtime as necessary. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see. </li><li>Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. </li><li>Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals. </li><li>The noise level in the work environment may be high. </li><li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions. </li></ul> <p>Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $24 - $25.00 USD hourly.
